RAIN

Do you know the meaning of rain? Rain is defined as water that falls from the clouds in small drops. Rain is so beautiful and healing; it soothes the spirits and washes away all that is bad. Rain is much more than people give credit to. It is a life giver, a life saver, it can even be a destroyer of the element water, and it fills the rivers, fuels streams and enters the ocean in waves. But, when there is goodness, evil leaks behind. So, basically rain is our main subject in this essay.

Obviously, rain has this magical thing in them. They cool us down from the hot temperature as we live in a hot climate country. Besides, rain cleans up the air from toxic particles thus making it easier for us to breathe. In undeveloped countries, they used rainwater to continue their daily lives as clean water are not available. We also use rainwater to do chores such as water the plants, wash the houses, and replace water during summer. Rainwater also fills the ponds, lakes, rivers and oceans. For plants, they grow more healthily if they feed on rainwater as rainwater is considered ‘soft’ water. It voids of chemical found in treated water. On top of that, rain would create rainbow and deliver us spectacular panorama to feed our eyes. But despite all these awesomeness, rain also has horror in them.

One of them is that too much rain would cause floods and destroys our valuable property, buildings and houses. We might lose our family members too. Rain also suffocates plants as too much rain causes it to deprive of oxygen. Humid temperature cause by the rain would help mosquitoes and flies to breed. Plus, our eye visibility would deteriorate making it hard for us to drive whenever it rains thus tripled car accidents. In some countries, rainwater causes high fever if one gets wet. They also might contain acid collected from polluted air and would deliver us skin irritation.

There you have it. Rain is described as an innocent and sweet creation. But, it also brings forth nasty things. Like all other things that God created, humans, plants, animals, universe, we all have beauty and ugly sides. In conclusion, don’t judge a book by its cover.
